The Next Gen Canberra timetable is packed with over 100 group classes each week, that are designed to keep you moving and motivated. Take one of the many fun fitness classes available, from strength and conditioning to mind-body, dance, high energy HIIT classes, yoga, mat Pilates, and cycling.

Our Classes

BODYPUMP®

Get ready to work in our Les Mills BODYPUMP class using full-body training with low to medium weights and high repetitions to effectively build all muscle groups.

CORE™

Inspired by elite athletic training principles, Les Mills CORE™ is a scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance.

GRIT™

LES MILLS GRIT® Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.

Strong 50

Light weight workout designed for our older members to improve fitness and maintain muscle tissue by using a variety of weights, bands and bar work. Suitable for all levels

Teambeats HIIT

HIIT classes with different training protocols depending on the day. BURN is more cardio focussed, BUILD is strength focussed and BASE is mobility/recovery focussed. These classes are full body based with EMOMS, AMRAPS, Super Sets and more.

Zumba®

Come and join the party! Zumba is a really fun cardio workout that uses popular dance moves and catchy music to get you moving and sweating. Suitable for all levels.

RPM™

Go for a spin with our Les Mills RPM class. With great music pumping and the group cycling as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding.

Stages Cycling

An interactive big-screen experience that allows you to race against yourself and/or other members, monitor your heart rate, perform FTP testing, complete real-world routes and train with the support and encouragement of fellow members and an enthusiastic cycling instructor.

Stages Virtual

Create your own experience through a guided ride on screen with different tracks alternating between flat roads and hill climbs to ensure you are working different zones of your heart rate. Your bike will appear on screen to show you what you need to aim for. It is 45mins of pure cycling.

BODYBALANCE®

Les Mills BODYBALANCE combines tai chi, pilates and yoga to incorporates core strength, flexibility and mind-body movement.

Flex 50

A slow paced stretch class designed for our older members to improve joint mobility, flexibility and breath control. Suitable for all levels.

Form 50

A fun low-impact aerobic workout to improve fitness and coordination through a variety of strength, balance and agility exercises. Ideal for mature members.

Mat Pilates

A specialised mat-class that uses your own body weight and some props to improve core stability, abdominal and back strength, flexibility, and posture.

Tai Chi

Embrace a moving meditation with our Tai Chi class. Tai chi is a practice that involves a series of slow gentle movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing.

Yoga

Whether you like to meditate, relax or flow our yoga classes have varying styles to cater for beginners to advanced yogis.

Aqua

A low impact but high intensity water aerobics class where no swimming skills are needed. These classes are designed to improve flexibility, strength, muscle tone and cardiovascular endurance while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, knees and back.
